This development proposal is part of Phase 1 of a Northland Mall redevelopment plan.  It involves the construction of a financial institution (for CIBC) on the corner of Northland Drive and Shaganappi, on the parcel of land previously occupied by the Cheesecake Cafe.

The building is one storey, 739 square meters, with drive through banking.  The proposal includes 33 parking spaces, bicycle racks and benches.  Waste and recycling containers will be contained within the tenant space. The plan includes a tree protection and removal plan, a traffic control plan, and pedestrian access from the main part of Northland Mall.

The Brentwood Community Association Development and Transportation Committee reviewed the plans and had no objections to the proposal.
